2011 has seen Kingfisher Systems expand its presence in the HGV, Plant and Machinery auction sector. June saw the installation of Auction Manager and Live Bid at Protruck Auctions in Doncaster. We also installed Auction Manager and our Timed Auction Solution at Truck Auction World, based in London. 2012 will see the implementation of Auction Manager and Live Bid at Malcolm Harrison Auctions in Prees, Shropshire. With Commercial Vehicle Auctions and Morris Leslie Auctions already using our products, Kingfisher solutions are becoming the products of choice within this sector.

First Quarter Results

The first three months of 2011 has proved to be a busy period at Kingfisher Systems.

January saw the supply and installation of Auction Manager, Live Bid and the Vehicle Inspection System at Belfast City Auctions. Belfast City Auctions, formally Carryduff Auction Group, has been at the forefront of the auction sector in Northern Ireland for over twenty five years. In March we completed installation at SMA Birmingham, the all-new purpose built auction and remarketing facility in the West Midlands. Modern, spacious, comfortable and built around the needs of vehicle buyers and sellers, the new centre is a substantial development, covering 8.5 acres

February saw the installation of Sage 200 2010 at Palmaris Services. Palmaris has been a customer of Kingfisher Systems for over fifteen years, having previously operated Sage Line 100. We also reached agreement with The Fleet Auction Group to supply and integrate Sage CRM with their existing Auction Manager installation.

Strong start to 2010

It has been a busy start to the new decade at Kingfisher Systems with strong sales across all product lines.

Auction Manager: New installations at Eastbourne Car Auctions, Cannock Motor Auctions and MB Auctions in Enniscorthy, Southern Ireland. This brings the number of auctions running Kingfisher solutions to the 60 mark, with all but five of the members of The Society of Motor Auctions now running our software.

Live Bid: Following on from a successful 2009, the new year sees the installation of Live Bid at a number of auctions, including Central Car Auctions, Newport Auctions and Jet Logistics in Stratford upon Avon.

Vehicle Inspection: Central to the success of Live Bid, and internet auctions in general, is the ability to provide potential buyers with as much information as possible on vehicles being offered at auction. Our Vehicle Inspection system allows vehicles to be appraised in a consistent manner with supporting images. This information is available on the Live Bid platform allowing buyers to make informed decisions as to which vehicles to bid on. Providing the pertinent information in an easy to understand format results in increased online sales as buyers become more comfortable with the Live Bid concept.

Kingfisher now has five application developers working on our range of solutions, ensuring that our products continue to lead the industry.

Live and Online in Dubai

Kingfisher has completed the installation of Auction Manager, Vehicle Inspection and Live Bid at Pioneer Auctions in Dubai. Pioneer Auctions is the leading auction house in the region, offering vehicles on behalf of major UAE banks, leasing companies, car manufacturers and dealers.  More information on Pioneer Auctions can be found at  www.pioneerauctions.ae.

Live Bid offers purchasers a secure and reliable method of remote bidding over the internet. Released in March 2009 the system has already been adopted by Wilsons Auctions, Scottish Motor Auctions and Aston Barclay, with more installations planned for the second half of 2009.
